To promote a partnership with Virgin America, Visa Checkout took part in a beta program for a new type of ad unit on Pinterest called Cinematic Pins. The Pins scrubbed backward and forward as the user scrolls through the feed, creating an immersive and interactive experience.
Pinterest loved how the pins came out. They even showed them off at Cannes, as examples of Cinematic Pins.
Pinterests users thought the Pins were pretty cool, too:
